Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Policy

All employees are important to both Thermolag and their families. Every employee has the right to a safe and healthy workplace and the right to return home every day – healthy and without injury. Management, supervisory teams and employees, openly and publicly commit themselves to strive to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Every employee is responsible for carrying out his work in a safe and healthy manner to protect himself and for his fellow workers.

Thermolag is committed to safely by being willing to pay, in time or money, to prevent incidents, which result in physical harm to persons or damage to property.

Thermolag has will set up a Safety Management System and train employees at all levels in its implementation.

Thermolag will provide construction projects that conform to internationally accepted environmental norms and standards. We will conduct our business in a manner that reflects our commitment to the environment, biophysical as well as social.

This is achieved through the ongoing participation of our management, employees, suppliers and sub-contractors, who will all adhere to the Environmental Code of Conduct.

In order to ensure that effect is given to this policy the Environmental Management Plan will be instituted on each project.

Quality Policy/Statement

The Management and Employees of Thermolag are commited to promote a ‘Quality-in-all-we-do’ philosophy with a total company effort to become dynamic, innovative leader in our industry.

We strive to delight our customer by firstly understand their requirements and then to meet or preferably exceed those expectations by providing our service defect free, on time, every time, and at a reasonable cost; also taking into consideration the safety and health of our employees and caring for the environment.

Statement

  1. Implementing and maintaining a Management System to address Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters.
  2. Providing the required resourced to fulfill our obligation to reasonably ensure safe working environment.

Guarantee of Workmanship

Kapaf t/a Thermolag guarantees the workmanship on all of its products.

The guarantee for workmanship excludes damage to the products through handling or installing once received in the customer’s stores; malicious damage to the product and damage owing to excessive conditions faced by the product not specified to Thermolag in writing.

In the instance of customer identifying a problem with the specific product, Thermolag will be notified in writing of the specific nature of the problem and the defect.

Thermolag, as its own discretion, will inspect the product within one week of the receipt of written notification and make recommendations as to correcting the problem. Should the product have workmanship defects, Thermolag will replace the defective product or portion thereof at its own expense.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to promote and help maintain a healthy, safe and drug-free work environment. Therefore we:

Strictly prohibits the use, sale, solicitation or transfer of drugs (unless medically prescribed) and alcohol, where work is being performed, including off company property and when off duty. This Prohibition includes the operation of company vehicle, equipment and private vehicles used in furtherance of company work.

We believe the effects of alcohol and drugs jeopardize the safety of the user and co-workers. Therefore, Thermolag has a zero tolerance policy concerning the use of drugs and alcohol.

  2. THINKsafety, and ACT safely at all times.
  3. OBEY safety rules and regulations – they are for your protection.
  4. WEAR proper clothing and protective equipment
  5. CONDUCT yourself properly at all times – horseplay is prohibited.
  6. OPERATE only the equipment you are authorized to use
  7. INSPECT tools/equipment for safe condition before start working.
  8. ADVISE your superior promptly of unsafe conditions or practices.
  9. REPORT any injury immediately to your superior.
  10. SUPPORT your safety program and take an active part in safety meetings.
