Safety Spray Shield

Description

Safety Spray Shields are designed to reduce spray effects from flanges, dissipating the pressure of the leakage and rerouting the fluid along the pipe, being a safety fence between the leakage and the external environment.

Safety Spray Shields inhibit dangerous leaks of hazardous high-temperature materials and allow time to make proper repairs.
They are effective in reducing damage to surrounding equipment and injuries to plant personnel and therefore act as a key part of the risk reduction programme.

Downtime caused by inspection and repairs are also reduced due to leak containment through the use of these Safety Spray Shields.

Safety Spray Shields can be applied throughout the plant if there is a high level of risk across a site, or specific to lines handling dangerous substances or lines in potentially hazardous locations such as above or alongside walkways.

The Velcro fastening enables one individual to wrap the shield around the flange connection hassle free and fast.

Safety Spray Shields are manufactured from high temperature cloth with a clear insert for easy visibility through the spray shield.
