• REINFORCEMENT: Stainless Steel Wire DIAMETERS FROM: 8mm to 50mm CONSTRUCTION: Increasing ends of ceramic yarn 560x2 with stainless steel wire reinforcing braided into a square braided packing. LENGTH OF ROLL: For 12mm to 50mm : 15m to 50m OPERATING TEMPERATURE: 950°C depending on the exact application. The material will withstand brief excursion’s of temperatures depending on conditions. FINISH: Loomstate YARN CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS: SiO₂- 50% to 52% Al₂O₃- 47% to 49% TiO₂, Fe₂O₃, Mgo, Na₂O- Remainder GENERAL: Ceramic fibre products are made from a melting of aluminium oxide and silica. The resultant fibres are white, cotton like in appearance and show a high thermal stability, low conductivity of heat and good chemical resistance. As pure ceramic staple fibre cannot be processed to textile products, organic fibres are added as a spinning aid. The organic share of cloth, tapes and ropes is between 15% and 20% These organic fibres will burn off on first thermal contact and will result in an ignition loss up to 15%
